9 Intentions for 2022

Recently, I spent three weeks living in California. My time away was very different than all of my previous trips to Palm Springs as I was balancing my work life rather than being in full vacation mode.

What did stay the same was a theme of when I travel: the time I spent reflecting on who I am today, how I’m showing up, what is working for me and what needs to change.

When I came back to Vancouver, I felt so much emotion about being back. At one point, tears finally flowed, a sign that something is shifting within me. Life is just so dynamic.

With just a few weeks left to go in 2021, I recommitted to some lofty intentions for 2022. Here are a few:

  • Being unapologetically ME! Authenticity at its best.

  • Embracing my imperfections and taking the pressure off of myself to strive for perfection. Something I know I will wrestle with for my entire lifetime.

  • Celebrating incremental progress; not waiting for the fireworks display. (They are not going happen!!)

  • Turning down the volume of my inner critics. I will simply acknowledge and do my best to hold onto my power.

  • Sitting in the discomfort of growth. That’s where the magic happens.

  • Upholding my boundaries rather than relaxing them and abandoning myself. My intuition never fails me.

  • Recognizing the value and impact of my life and work.

  • Letting go of connections I’ve outgrown or no longer align with who I am. 2021 saw me in declutter mode which created space for new connections.

  • Asking for what I need and not settling for anything less than what I deserve.

Do any of these resonate with you? What are your 2022 intentions?
